cheltenham festival tips , by pokodogo on Mar 17, 2011 11:27:18 GMT 1, Today we are having a few bets at value prices all each way...
BUENA VISTA 2.05 (taking 20/1 Stan James and 18/1 Bet365 1st 5places) ....... Had an in and out season, but won the race last year, this looks tougher but should still be there or there abouts. Would of prefered Charteaux not to have got in at the weights as this has a massive chance and off bottom weight will take all the beating.
Old favourite VOR POR USTEDES (2.40) runs for Nicky Henderson today and if anywhere near his previous form of years past then the 20/1 could be massive. But may have ran his best races already. So no big bet but just a small ew.
Everyone seems to rattle on about the World Hurdle been a 2 horse race (Big Bucks & Grand Crus) but I think a horse that should be shorter may of sneaked under the radar here and thats FIVEFORTHREE, obviously the horse has had its problems but the same could be said about another Willie Mullins horse Hurricane Fly which won the Champion Hurdle on Tuesday. At 20/1 Stan James this may prove the value if the front two dont perform.
Best bet is Buena Vista to decent stakes, last two smaller stakes.

Mourad in the Stayers to continue Irelands domination of the championship races... Far More Serious, Son Amix and Saddlers storm worth keeping an eye on in the betting too...

Needed those.... nice profit for the week now... for those whose want a little wager away from Cheltenham, a friend has a horse running in Fakenham tomorrow expected to win... trainer has another entered also who he expects to do the business.... they should be easy to spot on the card... clue they'll have travelled a nice bit further than the other runners.... back separately and in a double....
