Banksy Prints, by Deleted on Jan 29, 2011 22:54:00 GMT 1, I don't want this to turn into a war. But I am interested to see the honesty level on the forum. I personally try and buy every Banksy print regardless of image(thankfully I like most).
Just wondered how many people(if any), don't try if they don't like the image.
I guess now it seems queueing is becoming more regular its easier for people who live far away to say no. But for this Poll lets assume you all live on Commercial Street  .

So, to buy at source at original pricing: YES, I believe I would buy a Banksy print even if I initially didn't understand or appreciate the piece in terms of look or meaning or otherwise (to date, I have been 100% unsuccessful)..
In the secondary market, at these price points - I need some clear appreciation before I re-prioritize other life expenses...(if I hit the lotto for big money, this position could change...  )

If I had the chance to buy a print from source in the future and I didnt like the image, I guess the honest answer is that I would still buy it.
As Boaty says, I might grow to like it (didnt think much of CYW when I first saw it, love it now (tho dont own one)).
If I didnt grow to love it, I make no apology for the fact that I would probably seek to trade it for a piece of art that I do love.

May well be some trades, sales etc. coming up in the next few weeks. Problem is I have managed to get attached to some extent to all my prints, including those I am not so keen on. Excited to have new walls though ...

DFace, Kaws, Nick Walker (TMA prints at least!), Invader, Obey, etc
Sell out, but many available for "trade" soon after.
