IS IT POSSIBLE TO GET A BANKSY FOR £500 STILL , by Goooogle Male on Feb 22, 2011 17:53:46 GMT 1, well you can get a difaced tenner (or maybe even a pair) for £500 which is a start I suppose...obviously you have to find someone you trust and who has good provenance as you can't get CoA / Pest Control for them, but if you do, it is the beginning of a collection and if framed or mounted nicely, a great 'banksy' item...

IS IT POSSIBLE TO GET A BANKSY FOR £500 STILL , by jakek on Feb 22, 2011 19:19:43 GMT 1, i think getting any of the prints on the secondary market at this price might be tough. as others have said there are the odd one or two (quite often silver flags) that come up for that kind of price but usually there are plenty of people chasing them too.
that said you can still find some nice bits by banksy for well under the £500 figure.
(i'm guessing you know most of these but for any newbies or visitors to the site this might be of interest)
there are the litho posters of soupcans, and the 5 bristol museum show posters too.
there are the records he did for wall of sound and badmeaninggood - getting these framed up would look good (and if you're not bothered about them being authorised there are a few other record sleeves)
and there are loads of other bits and bobs such as the greenpeace stickers and posters.
i have to admit that many of the newer prints haven't spoken to me like banksy's early work and as such rather than paying over the odds for them i've been looking for a few older bits. here's an idea of what's out there for anyone interested in doing the same...

Would love a Trolleys so I'll keep 'em peeled for one of those.
