I then asked if he would mind meeting up at POW for it to be checked out but got no response back, which makes me a little suspicious. Any thoughts? Anyone else tried contacting the seller about this?

" I am somewhat concerned about a 'switch' for my original, where someone buys my print, then swaps it for a copy & says mine is a fake. Therefore I have to say any sale is final. Sorry if this doesn't help."

The auction has now finished, maybe sold off line, maybe he has had second thoughts, maybe someone got a bargain, but if a seller based in London won't go to POW to verify a four figure print that POW have confirmed there are fakes of I don't think any of us have really missed out

My missus is desperate for one - the print that is!
Whilst I have tried to explain to her the fact that these are rarer that the proverbial rocking horse sh1t, she still keeps nagging me as to when I am going to get one. My ears are beginning to bleed!!

I'll be go along but I'm sure it will go for a more than their estimate and when you add their 20% in, its going to get pricey  mind you, if it gets the missus of my back, i just might have to go raid the kiddies piggy banks to find that little bit extra.

Yeah it was the one from ebay, he negotiated a cash deal outside of ebay, I wouldn't say it was cheap! It was a lot of money, more than I could afford!!!!!
