The scaffold was removed and I saw the wall for the first time completely as a whole, tricky working on this essentially as two pieces that i hoped would blend together, and seem to have done a decent job of it! Really pleased with it, and should stay for a fair few years. feel free to share. Had such an amazing response from the local community, 'brightening up their streets'.

anyway, just completed marathon 6 in Coed Y Brenin, Forest park in Wales, and was that tough!!! Brutal is the word, 6;07 which is pretty slow, but a completion is a completion, also did SOuthend Half Marathon last weekend, which in hindsight might have been overkill...so 6 full marathons and one half marathon so far this year, i am taking off July as have so many painting events, Meeting Of Styles, Latitude Festival and then Upfest!

Several new series of works are in the pipeline, and I am showing a few select pieces over the coming months.With a new solo show hopefully later this year, where all the canvas pieces will be exhibited for the first time! Anyway, to start, here's one of my favourite on my new series of 'Liquid Lights' - Urban impressionistic paintings, entitled 'Launch Pad'

If you get a moment, could you ask the building owner what's going on with the Hat & Feathers?
Great location. [For non-Londoners, it's where Clerkenwell Road turns into Old Street. Not far from Clerkenwell Green, where Banksy installed his Trust No-one bronze sculpture 11 years ago.]
The pub has strangely been shut for ages, which is a real shame for the local area.

Hopefully, your mural won't be facing a massive Apple advertisement they frequently hang on the opposite wall. I'm often tempted to release a paint-filled fire extinguisher on those things, but I've thus far exercised restraint โ because I'm shy, and because at night there are usually vehicles parked immediately below. In my mind, I see those cars and buses as civilians. Personal ethics stop me from taking part in exercises likely to result in significant collateral damage or some regrettable friendly-fire incident.

Here's the night-time shot, hard to capture the UV effect on a photograph, the full effect is much better in real life of course! (pm every night for the next 2 weeks, the UV lights bring the painting to life at night, making a truer 24 hour, 'living' piece!
