I had received a £5k offer, and yes the buyer proceeded with another purchase instead. I am still in possession of my piece and am certain to achieve a similar offer again in the very near future, either on here or privately. Please refrain from flippant accusations when, as CG said on my fs, the only thing I had done in error was try and offer the forum some transparency with my sale. These are never worth £5k and never will be if you pay that then you have more money than sense..... I would gladly sell mine for £5k but ever think I will.

Just imagine how it looks from a buyer. I start w 3500, and immediately you have a SOLID 5000. Ok someone really wants it really bad and is paying up. Happens. But then a week later they disappear, and it could seem like the 5k was theatrics for an easy 4k ish sale. Like i said, "imagine" and "could". Im not accusing you of anything,its the internet and the 5k buyer very well could have decided to buy something else, changed their mind, or just been lying. just saying how it looks. As far as transparency, i really wish there was a way for buyer and seller to enter their sale price and it tracked like ex beans.
I can see how it could look, and I also know how it actually happened. Agreed that it would be great to have a bought/sold price index on here. I won't be stating 'sold' prices until the money is in the bank from now on, but will be happy to post what the final sold for price was in the future.
Sorry billysport for hijacking temporarily, glws and, if you wanted, please do let the guys know what you let your BC go for, if you do.
