Please be aware that there are many, many fakes of the Eyestorm Hirst prints on the market. I urge all members not to buy them un-less they have a current Eyestorm certificate. For obvious reasons I cannot post what you need to look for in order to spot the fakes, however a Hirst Valium in the for sale thread is unquestionably wrong.
These prints are low quality (digital prints on Photographic paper) and so they were quite easy to fake, as a result large numbers of Valium, LSD and to a lesser extent Opium flooded the market about 4 years ago.
If you do want to buy a Hirst either buy one of the many Paragon Press spot etchings, go to a reputable Auction House, or buy from Hirst's Other Criteria. If you must buy an eyestorm produced print, please, please have it checked out first. Eyestorm will do this, but will not tell you what to look out for as it enables fakers to know what to alter in order to make their repro's more genuine looking.

I suspect bought from eBay, where most of them were sold, or through a German Auctioneers (the faker was based in Germany and was cleaning them through big sales there)
Sadly many have now changed hands a few times over, so they have a history of being sold. I know of some that went through Sotheby's and Christie's a few years back when the houses were not aware these were being faked.
What's it worth.... nowt.

I have one that I paid not much over 5K for, so I assure you they are buyable.
