I did a stencil of the 2 images for Valentines and then I was mucking around with doing the stencil on the back of glass and then spraying over that on the back of the glass. This just popped so im gonna do 10 of these and then thats it...
This went up on the wall in palestine during the Santas Ghetto in Bethlehem...

Perhaps because connotatively and metaphorically the heart is the source of love in our bodies (and culture) 'i love you with all my heart, I was heartbroken, etc, etc. And the fists are associated with fighting so in a sort of clever(ish) wordplay we get the idea that we should use our hearts not our fists and 'fight' for love, because that is a more positive message than fighting with our fists.

I'm going with the strength and courage of our conviction to fight life's battles comes from our hearts.
