Yes. There's supposed to be a book and film about his life coming out this year.
Thanks for the kind words Wiz and Manty.
If you fancy a trade for the toe sucker Wiz just let me know. I'm increasingly surprised that no-one's fallen for her charms.

Dface, Thoburn, SPQR, Warhol etc for swaps., by Young Squire on Mar 30, 2011 10:21:14 GMT 1, I'd be interested to see some pics of the Psaier and have PMd you.
Not sure it is fair to confirm he definately worked with Warhol though, many people dispute he ever even existed let alone met Warhol.

Dface, Thoburn, SPQR, Warhol etc for swaps., by Poppy Sunshine on Mar 30, 2011 21:42:36 GMT 1, Just sorting out your pics youngsquire.
Agreed there is a lot of controversy over Psaier which should make the film a compelling watch. These pieces along with any others I've seen or owned are very well done and of great quality. A lot more work has gone into them than a lot of pieces I've seen and owned by other artists.
Whether Psaier was an actual person or not remains to be seen but there have been Psaier pieces sold by the big auction houses for probably 20 years or more. Also, at the big auctions of his works a couple of years ago they even shipped a guy into the country claiming to be Psaiers doctor and have since wheeled out another chap claiming to be his analyst and friend who was also clutching his death certificate.
If this turns out to be a hoax it will be a very elaborate one and not one which has netted anyone a massive life changing amount of cash for their trouble.
With regard to the Warhol foundation denying his existence it is of little surprise that this is the case if the reports are true that some of Warhols most iconic images were actually the work of Psaier and they don't take kindly to this fact being known.
I for one am really intrigued by the whole story and am really looking forward to seeing how this pans out.
In the meantime Psaiers work is mostly hand done original pop art and i believe represents good value for money with the added potential for a significant return if compelling evidence ever comes to light. It should at least get a lot of interest and a possible price hike when the book and film come out.
Possibly worth a punt as an investment...............or just a great piece of individual pop art.

Dface, Thoburn, SPQR, Warhol etc for swaps., by Poppy Sunshine on Mar 31, 2011 8:21:06 GMT 1, Are you sure you don't want all of these Wiz?
Does anyone know the guy with the username Session? This Psaier has the word "session" down the whole of one side and would be perfect for him.
On that note if anyone has a nie piece of art with the word "poppysunshine" down the side of it I may well be interested.
