Advice on selling my "American Influence" Banksy , by skandal20 on Mar 29, 2011 21:05:16 GMT 1, Apologies if this comes off as ignorant, but I am a first time poster here and a first time art seller.
I received this print as a gift in 2004 from my girlfriend (at the time), it's an unsigned copy purchased from Pictures on Walls. It is the "American Influence" print and is in pristine condition, never framed and barely ever taken out of the shipping tube it came in. (I think I've only looked at it about 3x)
Anyway, I'm in some financial difficulty and I need to sell it. I'm based in San Francisco and was wondering if I need to talk to a local gallery, or get it appraised, or authenticated (since it is not signed). Or just toss it up on Ebay. And any approximate values you can throw my way would be appreciated.
Any advice would be great! Thanks.

Any buyer can then check and pay for a coa if wanted. The main issue is it has been in it's tube for years. Pls take it out and let it start to relax plus maybe speak to a decent framer about how to sympathetically and carefully getting it flat again.
The print is called "Naphalm" or "can't beat the feeling". I would guess you will get north of $1k if there are no issues with it's condition, quite possibly more
