I checked with Christies if 50 was actually right. They weren't sure.... They were going to check with PC and get back to me. I haven't heard anything else. So, I'd still keep it in the 50-100 range - which is still less than GWB. And 1/3 of the APs also. |

Major auction houses like Christie’s do speak to PC directly about this stuff. If they haven’t done due diligence on published information that affects value, they can create problems for themselves.

I asked them and this is what they said:
"You’re right to point this out – I have spoken to our Banksy print expert who said it varies how many works were ultimately signed – some editions it is 100, some editions fewer. We have inquired with Pest Control however and are awaiting their instruction and further information."
