Handle with care!, by gibbin82 on Apr 14, 2011 19:59:55 GMT 1, Thought I would take advantage of the Edition Populaire weekend sale a couple of weeks back and treat myself to one of the Dran 1984 posters. After suffering at the hands of the Royal Mail for the last couple of years with items broken or stolen (Mr Postman are you enjoying all the Amazon DVD's I have contributed to your growing collection  ) you would have thought that a print in a tube and packed in a box would be pretty safe traveling from France to my place in England, surprisingly it wasn't and arrived in the condition shown in the picture below. Fortunately it was only a cheap poster and Edition Poulaire have also agreed to replace it, but just imagine if this had been a Banksy or something else of value  , to damage it in this way it can only have been done deliberately by being bent across somebodies knee or something

Handle with care!, by maumau93 on Apr 14, 2011 20:31:54 GMT 1, my dad used to work for the post office and said he rarely saw anything like this but new people who would open post look for valubles then re seal or even one guy who took home two weeks of post and had a bombfire (he got fired)

It gets very frustrating it is always Amazon DVD packages, I loose a few make a complaint through Royal Mail and then it seems as though everything is resolved only for it to start again a few weeks or months later. Amazon seem to have a three strike policy were they refund you after three missing disc's and you have to place a new order, the Al Murray disc took over two months from the first order to actually getting it. See the screen grab below showing a search on my Amazon orders that shows some of the orders. It makes it worse though when what they don't steal they break
