Just click on the item you're interested in, and underneath the picture there's a 'View larger image' option!

Have to agree. Also for an artist that has been with POW for a long time, they never seem to have really promoted him or made him the focus of shows.

That would be me! ;D
To this date I am puzzled as to why Sickboys work doesn't sell out fast. It is affordable. Quality. He is a stayer from back int day! And to boot he puts on great shows! Discuss...
I'm quite grateful that Sickboy isn't one of the 'hyped' artists on the forum as it allows his work to remain affordable and goes into the hands of his true fans and not ebay speculators.
I would say he is one of the most unique and talented British 'street artist' with his very own and recognizable style.
I also like the fact that he still regularly paints and tags the streets unlike other artists who only do so to promote their latest show or print release (you all know who I mean!).
He also seems to have quite a different mentality to other street artists...he's keen not to want to look like 'selling out'. He still is linked very closely to his 'traditional graffiti' roots and he isn't motivated by money but the love of painting.
I also admire the fact that he puts on his own shows and nearly almost all his releases are independent (has sold some prints and books with POW). But I also feel that this has in some part hindered him as he doesn't get so much recognition, especially from abroad.
I wonder how many Americans know about Sickboy in comparison to D*Face and Nick Walker?
Having said that, he has now started to show abroad which can only be a good thing. Hopefully one day he'll have a solo show in the US.
A lot of his work can be too 'raw' for some, as Manty said. But the progress he has made on the larger detailed canvas paintings is unreal. His style has really developed. I feel as though a lot of people look at his smaller, more affordable works and dismiss the rest of the work as being of a similar vein.
The start of 2011 has been great for Sickboy with his 'Burning Desire' show in Lisbon...being the cover artist of the brilliant VNA magazine which has been very popular...the announcement of his forthcoming second large London solo show 'Heaven & Earth' and him showing at One Thirty 3 with Word to Mother in April.
So there's a lot to look forward to if you a fan of the Sickboy!
I started a thread on the London show here:
urbanartassociation.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=general&thread=68613&page=1
Hopefully the London show and his upcoming t-shirt collaboration with Vivien Westwood will raise his profile a bit more...
I posted this video on the 'Burning Desire' show thread, but i'm not sure how many people saw it as it was tucked away in the Sickboy subsection of the forum.
Worth a re post I guess...
Also it's worth watching the video interview at i-d aboout his book release last year:
www.i-donline.com/i-spy/sickboy-presents-busted-parachute
You could say i'm a big sickboy fan! ;D ;D ;D

From the newsletter yesterday..
'The first seven customers to place an order will receive either a free hand-finished/signed copy of i-D magazine (exclusively featuring news of Sickboyโs forthcoming 2011 solo show, Heaven & Earth), or one of two hand-finished /signed copies of the V&A Museum street art book featuring Sickboyโs prints.'
