They sold out in May 2006 and this is a higher numbered one hence the '06 signature (generally I don't think Banksy enjoyed signing 300 prints in one go so did them in batches)

i'm really starting to get this opinion also. especially here in the US. anybody know how "the outsiders" lazarides gallery show in NYC is going? i stopped in to check it out yesterday and got a price list, but nobody in there at the time knew what had/had not sold. it would be interesting to see w/ all the bank fiasco stuff going on right now. good show though. great setup.

I got ripped off for a camera a few weeks back and there seems to be no help from ebay themselves whatsoever so it does please me a little when the big boys take them to court for selling fakes.
Anyway, just spotted this one today.

It has 11 hours or so to run and the seller wants payment up front as usual. Even if collecting you need to have paid beforehand to protect his collection.
Apologies in advance if this is a forum member or a genuine sale but alarm bells ring when the seller has only had 1 feedback in 12 months and adds suspect demands to the payment details.

1) Won't accept Paypal - bank transer only.
2) "Pre-arranged" courier.
3) 1 day listing.
4) Listing "on behalf of my brother" or some other BS reason why they are happy for a £5K-£10K piece go for a tenth of that - as in the case of the CWS.
5) Rare signed pieces. These folk are so dumb that the pieces they choose to pretend to have stand out like a blind cobblers thumb when they go up.
The seller (or the person thats hijacked the persons account) makes the listing private believing they are safe but that only lasts until the auction ends. So, when it closes the unfortunate winning bidders ID is made public. In the case of the CWS I contacted the buyer through eBay and gave him the forum thread URL. He came back to reassure me he wasn't going to proceed.
WE NEED A DEDICATED AREA ON THE FORUM FOR THIS STUFF! A PLACE WERE WE CAN SLAM THESE ITEMS IN AS SOON AS THEY ARE SPOTTED INSTEAD OF FINDING SOMEWHERE THAT WILL DO. MORE IMPORTANTLY A PLACE WERE BUYERS CAN REFER TO IN CASE THE ITEM THEY ARE ABOUT TO BID ON HAS BEEN FLAGGED. EBAY DON'T CARE. I CONTACTED THEM ABOUT THE CWS AND THEY GOT BACK TO ME A WEEK LATER.
