Banksy Grin Reaper Print, by pollz66 on Feb 22, 2015 23:21:07 GMT 1, These took ages to sell out originally at POW, mainly because of the primary price of ยฃ500, but then there was a lot of work on the print. The level of detail is on GR phenomenal.
APs tend to carry a premium, even if they are the same as the main edition. I'd ask for offers around ยฃ11k.

Banksy Grin Reaper Print, by Black Apple Art on Feb 23, 2015 0:38:21 GMT 1, As I discussed earlier... I really don't think an AP should command a premium over a regular print edition unless it is a unique variant of the original piece. I equate this type of AP to a #1 or low numbered print...Means a little something extra to some and nothing to most.

Banksy Grin Reaper Print, by thehatshop143 on Feb 23, 2015 4:47:39 GMT 1, So does this have the foil background? Could anyone please help clarify? There is the regular signed edition of 300. There is a foil background ... how many of these? Love this. I see on NewArtOnline there are two others posted ... an AP 1/1 with a white background? an AP 1/1 with un-cut borders? Just curious, thank you!

No disrespect intended but you'll find throughout art history across most auctionable artists and genres that this opinion is just that and quite the opposite of the truth. A routine review of any pricing software across generations will reveal that APs carry a widespread premium whether or not they are differentiated from their standard counterparts. I don't believe that disparity can be equated to meaning "a little something extra to some and nothing to most" but ymmv.

As to the initial question for the thread, I have no idea what that is worth but I do know that if I were looking I would not expect to find any Banksy AP's for less than 10.

Banksy Grin Reaper Print, by Deleted on Feb 23, 2015 12:47:44 GMT 1, I am considering selling my grin reaper A/P. what would be a good price as seeing prices vary quite a bit lately? 12k plus IMO.
It is an AP plus a desireable image.
BAA, I am no gallery, I have experience with markets though, an Artists Proof has extra cachet whether it be in the Art or Design market.

Banksy Grin Reaper Print, by Deleted on Feb 23, 2015 14:46:07 GMT 1, Really depends on what type of AP but all APs carry a premium, if its a variant from the released ed it will be worth ALOT more, if its an AP the same as the released ed like HC or LIITA around 10% imo, i've only seen variants of the reaper and they have a hefty premium, not many of them. I know what BA means though and personally i would just go for a signed rather than pay extra for an AP that isnt a variant.

I don't believe that disparity can be equated to meaning "a little something extra to some and nothing to most" but ymmv. I said " I don't think" they should command a premium and never said they didn't. I think for the most part many are taken in by the mystique and deception of the "AP" label as they share the premium benefit of simply being classified as such. While some may appear to be very small "editions" since they are numbered as so or not numbered at all, when in fact most are all just an extension of the regular edition, aside form the unique variants of course. It's all a personal preference in the end.

Banksy Grin Reaper Print, by Deleted on Feb 23, 2015 18:33:53 GMT 1, Is mine worth more or less as it has extra tar on the nice white clockface
I was thinking an extra 200% because if you think about it, its really an original, I am going to see how easy it is to get it out of the frame, so I can rub out the stupid edition number

I do agree with Castle about the 10% realized premium to non variant APs in general, even though they are often marketed for much more. I do however want to apologize to rhinor for getting into this discussion on a potential sales thread. To be honest I did not notice your piece was an AP to start with and is why I compared it the print on HangUp. My bad. Great print and fantastic image.
