I have a Growers screenprint, one of my favourites actually. I'll get it framed next couple of months and post a pic. But yeah they look great and he doesn't sell for stupid prices, so grab one while you still can. Mine's numbered in the 90s and the edition's 125. He also sent a signed print of a sketch unprompted. Definitely one of the good guys!
Edit: Actually he does post internationally now, but prices have gone up since I bought one. Growers is now $150, used to be $80

The £50 Art Thread, by spirit on Aug 11, 2007 22:01:20 GMT 1, Not sure whether to laugh or cry...I came into work around lunchtime today with the intention of getting work done for a Monday deadline. After some general procrastinating I found this thread at about 2.30. Its now 9.30 and I haven't got any work done yet. Instead, I am now the proud owner of...
Daniel Danger: Please dont worry - 2nd edition ($35) Bast: Thug (£20 - POW) Vaucher: Liberty (£25 - POW) Sutter (inkfinger): Punc Letterpress ($15) Sutter (inkfinger): Goodwife avenir ($20) Candykiller: Coney letterpress print + freebie ($37) Tyler Stout: Ruby + Clap your nucleus set ($50)
Not bad I reckon - 10 prints for a total spend of about £120 + postage!
A big thank you to leom9259 (+1) for starting this thread and to everyone who has contributed to it - totally diverting ;D. I will go back through and give respect where it's due later I promise but right now I really need to get some work done...

The £50 Art Thread, by Deleted on Aug 23, 2007 20:36:34 GMT 1, whilst in niche frames i came across some prints by an artist called 'mokee'. i think that was the name. they were about £15 each and really nice. did a quick google search but couldn't come up with a link, anyone know a link for this artist please?. it isn't totally the kind of thing i would go for, but i would imagine plenty really liking it.

The £50 Art Thread, by artfortruth on Aug 27, 2007 15:34:59 GMT 1, First off, what a great thread! I just spent a lot of time going through it all and I see some really nice stuff. Thanks for all the info. I want to especially thank Slowmo for posting about the 27 print. I've been searching for something of his to buy for a while now and seeing that made me sooo happy that I instantly hit the purchase button!
As for my recommendations I'll have to drop some examples of pieces being sold on my new site. Some are one-of-a-kind while others are Limited Edition and ALL are much less than 50quid:
The site is called: artfortruth.info
Here's 2 of my latest images:
