Peat is a legend. I have a couple of his prints. Check the sizes before purchasing because they are quite small.
Some great originals on his site at the moment.

The £50 Art Thread, by baldwin on Aug 27, 2007 23:07:20 GMT 1, I am not intentionally hyping up artfortruth, but I keep finding interesting things on his site. ;D
"At McCarron park in Brooklyn, New York there are some beautiful handball courts that have numerous layers of paint on them from covering up graffiti that gets put on top. This is one of them."
The covering up of street art has produced an art of it's own. If that's not ironic, then I don't know what is!

The £50 Art Thread, by artfortruth on Aug 30, 2007 15:24:03 GMT 1, Dave, Can I please see your framed Bast print?
I was severely disappointed with the print quality myself. It felt and looked like a digital inkjet print to me. It didn't have that nice and subtle texture of most multi-color silkscreen prints I own. I was also very disheartened to find out Bast didn't even print them, knowing damn well he's a printer!

Some great photos on flickr, thanks for the link. The unicycle print by Visiris was one of the ones that I bought this afternoon. Think I may go for a few more of hers later.

Hi, yeah give me a couple of Days to get my camera back and Il get some Pics up, The print quality is not superb but is still alot better than some more expensive prints i own! and its still on register unlike some others!
For the price i couldnt knock the print, i think the stock used is quite absorbant which is maybe why it gives a slight feel of an ink-jet as you dont get that thick layer of ink sitting on the top of the material. But the black used on my print almost gives a soft velvetty feel which i like - Bare with me and Il get some pics up ASAP

The £50 Art Thread, by goffy on Sept 2, 2007 23:40:51 GMT 1, CBL, that Yves Klein poster does not do justice to the painting, which I saw last week in the Tate in Liverpool. I actually think it is a great piece and it is just the best colour blue ever! I love it.

The £50 Art Thread, by pezlow on Sept 3, 2007 8:41:30 GMT 1, For sheer simplicity and cheek you can't beat one of Klein's paintings. And that blue colour is almost unique to him. Some of his sculptures are great as well, all in the same colour.
I agree though you wouldn't want a poster of it.
But hey if you think that's bad just google Ad Reinhardt and check out his paintings!!

The £50 Art Thread, by artfortruth on Sept 4, 2007 20:25:27 GMT 1, ;D!WOW! ;D
I just wanted to let everyone here know that I received this piece in the mail today and I'm VERY impressed!!
The entire transaction cost me only $24 USD It shipped in a nice/thick tube and included a Just Seeds post card.
What impressed me the most was the scale. It's nice and big!! Also, the hand-sprayed layers are all nice and smooth. No drips n' crap. I also feared that it would be on newsprint but is on something more like butcher paper.
If you had considered this piece At ALL I highly recommend following through with the transaction.
I understand the piece isn't for everyone but damn, I work as an operator for an IT help-desk and this is how I feel everyday!! Wish I could hang it in my office and actually get away with it!
Thanks to all who tipped me on the Just Seeds update. I might have to pick something else up now.
**EDIT** I forgot to mention that the cell phone is silver!
