The £50 Art Thread, by jellya on Oct 15, 2007 13:52:52 GMT 1, I've mentioned this site before but it is too good not to mention it again. I've bought quite a few books from them and they have all been top class. I've now just ordered a print from them for the first time so I'm looking forward to it. They are not street art but it's great if you like your art a bit twisted and are into outsider/art brut check it out if you haven't already. www.lederniercri.org

The £50 Art Thread, by notitle on Oct 17, 2007 15:20:42 GMT 1, thanks nickc & pkt75, glad we could help you both out!
And holden, thanks a lot for posting that link. I've been looking for at a few of Lister's originals, but unfortunately haven't been able to stretch to the prices. Incidentaly my favourite piece of his recent superhero themed paintings was the Spiderman! I'm a closet Spiderman fan, so that link & subsequent purchase has made my day! Thank you.
Nice price too!

What they said - great site with great work (I love type). Just bought quite a few prints! ;D - can't believe I hadn't come across this before - particularly as the owners are members here - don't know why they keep so quiet about it. Thanks guys - keep it up!

You can still pick this up for around £50 and it completely changes at night when it glows in the dark to this.
Absolutely blows 99% of everything else away for £50

The £50 Art Thread, by f5ers on Oct 19, 2007 21:40:12 GMT 1, Try Egay.com or Expresso Beans poster forum. I've paid my subscription for a Dan's work (there might be spaces left?) but you get a print a month for a set fee which i can't remember the amount (about $300 for 12+ prints). Its a much better way of buying from artists you like as you don't have to check their website every few minutes just in case something may or may not be released. Most of my art (mainly limited edition rock art and art prints) comes from the US. Its too expensive in this cuntry

thanks, interesting idea 'subscribing' to an artist, never really heard of anyone doing it before. the exchange rate doesn't hurt when buying from the US too.

Rob Jones (www.animalrummy.com) must be sitting on a few thousand posters. People have been waiting for years for him to sell some white stripes and raconteurs posters. Don't really understand what he's waiting for.. it just drives up the secondary egay market. omgposters.com is a blog site with links.. takes a while to sift through then eventually find that its sold out on the artists website.

The £50 Art Thread, by morrissey1 on Oct 22, 2007 22:58:25 GMT 1, I've just finished framing all 14 prints from my Mark Ryden mini portfolio (edition of 10,000 for $50 US). Because the prints in the portfolio are only 8x10 cheap framing was easy. Just headed down to a bargain shop, bought 14 frames at 5 bucks each..and now my whole set is in frames and looking rather smart...will post pics soon
