Really like Alex Young. He's also responsible for a lot of the graffiti you see in The Lanes in Brighton (contributed to the James Brown Tribute).

Approaching 2pm, still no sign of delivery, hopefully tomorrow....

Have just spoken to Roo(?) who was very apologetic and explained they'd been hit with orders unexpectedly and didn't have the tubes to cope with demand. Batch sent out this morning to arrive before 1pm tomorrow. Explained the original was a commissioned by the label owner Rob Luis. Apparently it's fucking huge.
Sounds like they're looking at ideas for future releases.

The £50 Art Thread, by Agent Provocateur on Jul 17, 2008 16:10:36 GMT 1, Thought I'd post in here as the last of me 50 pound MDF 'Biggles in searchlights' is still available (OK OK apart from the one I am keeping  ) from the edition of 12. They are all unique, created using handcut stencils and mucho paint including gold and silver (at night the gold and silver really makes them shine  ).
There are two APs, but these are currently residing at the Brick Lane Gallery in the 'Free for Wall 2' exhibition.
Just to keep people on their toes, rather than number this edition of 12 I have actually written a unique word on the back of each one. When all 12 words are put in the correct order they make up a sentence... and if anyone can find out the complete sentence (again, without the last word because of the one I am keeping) and email/PM it to me they will receive a unique test piece that I have been working on for my new 'Battle' scene ;D.

Got my Alex Young today too. Will probably take a year to flatten out gently ;D with the tube being on the small side but very pleased with the print. Already approved for the wall too.
