The RRP on canvas that big is a bit terrifying. When the sale ends, I'll have to mark-to-market at a fair price. I'd just like the support to keep me in paints. Is there interest in a smaller sized image?

This is the first canvas done and I've donated it to Cancer Sell since they sold my Summer Blade yesterday and didn't give it a chance to see the show proper. =( Size is 20x20 inches. I've put in tiny flowers in silver paint on the pink obi.
The one's I will paint on the street will have added flower detailing on the lower red kimono and a depiction of leaves or cherry blossom petals floating in the air. If course this means I will need to find a nice place to do it where I won't be stabbed or chased by police.
If you think it's worth GBP45 or more, please makeyour way down to Cancer Sell tomorrow and contribute to a good cause!

Measures 18.5 cm x 14.5 cm, printed on 310gsm Hahnenuhle Satin Photo Rag. Edition of only 50 and signed inside in gold ink, also numbered by the artist and sealed with a hand stamped label. Only £30.00! I went to the opening night on Friday and read through a sample copy. It's a really nice Jamie Reid item. www.theaquariumonline.co.uk

The £50 Art Thread, by bmjt on Aug 4, 2008 14:06:46 GMT 1, Once again i'm impressed Snowflake sir, very good stuff, and an improvement on last time in a few areas, the smoother colour of the bottom left corner is a great success, and the limit on the colours makes it much more appealing and subtle, akin to the minimalism you adhere to. Love it mate, keep it up. The only thing I would say is the smaller leaves at the top seem a bit lost, maybe a bit more work on the composition needed to create a bit of spatial tension up there.
Thinking of introducing any more characters in addition to the geisha girl?
