Show everyone your latest Art Purchase?, by finsburyparkranger on Sept 12, 2007 16:46:30 GMT 1, when i was kicking it at pow with eine, he told me that all modern screen prints have a 75 year garuntee on the ink, and the glass in a normal frame will cut out about 60% of harmful rays, so spending the money on uv glass isnt needed unless planning on keeping things for 100s of years. i know nothing about uv light or inks, and im guessing he will know alot more than me so i believe him.
Is that right? The pow printer said that their own screen prints only have the same life time garantee as most modern giclee's?

he was talking about inks, i didnt ask if he meant screen or glicee or evan canvas i realise i put screen prints in my first post, ive edited this as i know nothing about the subject.
We got on to the subject as our lass said that my rooms are always dark as i dont have the curtains open so light doesnt damage anything. he then said about the inks, and glass. Sorry for any confusion.

No it's just a temporary hanging space, it's in the position where Blek's Last Tango hangs usually, Dolk's Che is temporarily misplaced too, that usually goes where the Mantis is, The AMP canvas is going to end up in my office.
