permission to steal your concept?

Absolutely! ;D
Actually have to come clean- I bought him from Artrepublic in Brighton framed up already - the effect worked just as well on me in the shop I guess!

Thanks very much!
Yep-its a Nielsen alu polished job. I thought about doing the same for Applause but decided against as a) The framers I went to came up with ideas that suited it better and b) there isn't a Nielsen big enough to hold that monster anyway
Applause with that much white space around could look pretty cool though - but I think you would need the mother of all New York style loft apartments, with some serious wall space, to make it work (as opposed to a small flat in the loft of a conversion in south-west London

I too bought a Banksy pre-framed by Art Republic and went on to frame two more in the same style, simple but works.

I'm really tempted to have my "Love is in the Air" reframed now. This thread and ebay are what keep me poor!

Picked my Bomb Hugger up today from the framers after getting it re-framed professionaly from the Nielsen I bought it in originally. I'm really pleased with it. ;D
Thanks for all the suggestions (and chat about the Tour de France?!!!) in my "How should I re-frame my Bomb Hugger?" thread a while back
Cheers, Dan

Show everyone your latest Art Purchase?, by Aza on Jan 28, 2007 12:43:32 GMT 1, Thanks for the comments guys! I am very happy with the CWS I decided to cover up the edition number with the frame job, as I thought it would look best without the light border around the image and for it to frame just around the grey area.
ABC : Yeah it's the hand drawn from Laz
Cheers

You got it! You would have seen this at the Banksy, Crude Oils Exhibition in London Last year.
Just had the chance to take photo's of it and upload it.
I had it commission by Mr Eggs himself just before Chrimbo and its been personalised to me :-). I think the original one is lying in the hands of Mr Laz and don't think he'll hand it over to anyone.

I liked many of Eggs's prints but lots of em are sold out so decided to email with my request. Check him out at www.mreggs.com. Very nice chap and great artwork.
What do you peeps reackon of my Crude Oils souvenir? Bought it for the missus as it was her fave at the exhibition. Trust it not to be a Banksy. Women.. tut.. :-)
