Nice grabs saltandiron.

Thats very nice Taco, have you put it onto glass, let it set then got it framed? looks great fella, ofter wondered how to go about setting up an invader ( hence never buying on due to the probability I would get it wrong ), that looks like the perfect solution.

Show everyone your latest Art Purchase?, by taco on Apr 3, 2007 19:29:19 GMT 1, Bought chunky £6 frame from "au naturel", took out back (stand bit) and glass. Painted frame white and glued tiles onto the glass. Was gonna get it framed but figured that could do easier (and cheaper!) myself.
Finally solved that "prints in the bathroom" problem from a while ago!

Or try Ebay for those mosaic tiles. Last time I checked you could pick up an assortment of 1000 tiles for under £10.

Banksy rated Dan's work by releasing Morons.
Ha ha! Just kidding. The way you tee'd it up, I just had to take the swing. Love you all!

Good luck mate and let us see all your framing choices as and when. You running out of space yet? lol

( only joking dear....) New framers opened up here, both done to order in 5 days for £150, bear in mind the laugh now last week was in for 9 weeks and cost the same for 1 job. Looks like I have found my new framer for the less special jobs... hoowoo.

My framer has just quoted me a price for framing Banksy Flag, £125 with normal glass, £280 with UV anti reflective!!!!!! The framer I used for these is newly opened here CBL, I asked for uv resistant anti refective, he hadnt heard of it, so got out his glass order sheets, and spoke to his supplier while I was with him to ensure he got the right stuff ( Clear view U/V). The total for the xenz was £50, which it about £25 cheaper than I expected, although he didn't charge for labour, just materials which was nice of him. The Xenz and walker came to £150 total. My usual framers, for a 50/70 print, with uv / AR glass, in an acid free mount / frame ( see the laughnow etc from last week) usually comes to +/- 150 quid, 280 seems very steep for what you are looking for, at that price uv/AR perspex may be the way to go as it has less natural reflection to begin with ( esp for Flag's silver back ground) and good uv protection. Not much help but hope it was some.
