Show everyone your latest Art Purchase?, by corblimeylimey on Apr 4, 2007 16:57:58 GMT 1, Thanks for the feedback monkeypuzzle, I thought it was too steep too, there is a cheap framer in town but I don't think I can trust them particularly with the extra sensitive Flag print.
I think I'll just have to use normal glass, all my other prints are in normal glass, and none of them get direct sunlight, I just wanted the clarity for Flag seeing it's all black and reflective silver.

Tis good to see another fine piece by Xenz on this thread,i love this piece,when the light catches it the reds come alive,lovely work.
Like the way the vandal is done as well,very nice.whereabouts are you in the country as your framer sounds very cheap for good work.

I find it a little strange that the applause print is not seen as a great banksy print.
I own this print & love it. The size of it is a monster & it looks great up close.
I own 14 banksy prints & it looks better than the rat prints & a few others.

I think it may have something to do with the style. Many of the LA prints are drastically different from the classic Banksy 'stencil-ish' feel in older prints such as Bomb Hugger or Flying Copper. Also, unlike the older prints, the images from the LA prints did not come from street work.
Just my hypothesis Still... different doesn't mean 'bad', and I love them all the same 'cos they came from the same wonderful mind!
