Artists You Might Not Know, by frankiefrench on Jan 18, 2017 17:31:57 GMT 1, The top one looks like Pose - Blot a bit too much! Christ, whoever this French bloke is he likes cutting up pictures of a Pose piece, reassembling them (but worse) and then passing it off as 'collage' It's not really cricket is it, I mean a collage is creating something new out of bits, not just jumbling up an image of someone else artwork. Its a no from me.

Happy to have shared an artist you like. I used to be a lot more active on this thread, but have let it slip (disolutioned). But I will try to rectify that.

Artists You Might Not Know, by Coach on Jan 25, 2017 23:47:55 GMT 1, I'm sure that everyone knows Bernini already, so this is undoubtedly the wrong place to post this. But I didn't know where else to post it. In a troubled world what better than to look at the master of sculpture, whose depiction of human flesh in stone is unparalleled in skill and beauty. Love to all.

Crazy skills. I love the 2d Fridriks style piece on his site. Also just read he lost his mate last year due to a scaffolding collapse on one of his murals. Bloody horrible.

Artists You Might Not Know, by WOOF on Jan 27, 2017 23:19:42 GMT 1, Am I the only one that thinks this thread should actually be it's own subforum. That way people can post topics about specific artists and have real conversations about them instead of just dropping links with a few pics.
Daniel Silk can we look into making that change. And maybe a subforum for art that's not urban/street?

Have to agree - as a newcomer to this forum, this thread is by far my favourite thing about it.
