Whats the favorite work of art you own?, by Pattycakes on Jan 14, 2011 19:33:30 GMT 1, Bought this last week, so it's my favourite for this week.
It's a really early Patrick Caulfield, it's super rare, and for what I paid I think I got an absolute steal.

Yes, quite hard to say. Because she's the newest to my eyes, I'd say:
She looks beautiful next to:
( OK, it was much more difficult. ;D )

Whats the favorite work of art you own?, by s3tar on Jan 14, 2011 20:53:28 GMT 1, Something my mother made out of what was left of plaster and some ceramic tiles and stones from Greek beaches. For me..it's priceless...I have it in the office where I work. It brings smile on my face even during them dark times...
...sorry for bad photo, it was taken with my phone

Whats the favorite work of art you own?, by Deleted on Jan 14, 2011 22:26:19 GMT 1, Great thread Slammer. Amazing WK Interact which must dominate pretty much everything and also like Samuraiwriter's fav, is that Chloe Early?
My favourite piece cost me £25 in Brighton years ago, no idea who the photographer was only that his Dad was selling the work and he said that it would be worth more if his Son died!!
It's not just the image (which is upside down) but the great day we had which builds value for me - I had my two brats in the sea for the first time in the UK that day. Scuse the photo.
Halcyon days....

Whats the favorite work of art you own?, by Andy'77 on Jan 14, 2011 22:33:09 GMT 1, Darn Sand I promised myself to try and keep to my Auerbach and McGinness wish list. That Sickboy is a beauty and its made me think about some other artists I would still like to have a piece by, Sickboy and Jaybo being two. Andy that EINE is really striking. Love the detail on the frame. Can I ask where you had that framed?
Yeah, it was framed by Exhibit 1 in Leeds. They do most of my stuff, not the cheapest but the best frames I've seen anywhere.

if this thread was about the most beautiful work in my collection, i'd struggle to choose between any of my Jagos. His work is stunning and imo resonably priced. Jago is def my fav artist. Mike this piece is f**king lovely dude. Mine excluded this has to be my favorite piece on this thread.

Whats the favorite work of art you own?, by Coach on Jan 15, 2011 1:13:19 GMT 1, great thread, nice to see so many different answers! Coach i have my Golf Sale framed EXACTLY the same as that, weird. One of my faves as well, would be a tie with my bombhugger i think for first place at the mo. I've just rehung them back out in the lounge after winning an argument with my missus about what should go where (the first argument i've won in 5 years i would think). Saying that i also rather like my Fake Warship canvas which is a 1/1.... Actually i like everything i have framed or on canvas equally, so i'm no help here whatsoever..... I'll get me coat.
Cool. I think GS is a massively underestimated print. Never in a sought for thread. But classic early Banksy, with his typical poke at authority and all the humour we come to expect now. Imo, much better than later prints. But, perhaps, I am biased! Thanks for the appreciation. c
