They come in various forms from 'unpaid item dispute' to 'I've seen this for sale and wondering is its still available'. Got caught out once a long time ago. Never again ! Best advice is to never click on any links from ebay emails.

EBAYERS BEWARE., by dwight on Mar 8, 2007 19:59:03 GMT 1, That scam got me. I'd never seen it before coming through ebay with a clean url and I fell for it. I get scams all the time like becoming a powerseller etc., but this one got me. Fortunately I was online when it happened so I caught the scammer before he caused any damage.

Didnt get me though as I changed my Password the next minute, this was last June so the've been around for ages now and hopefully most have seen the different types.

Recieved a similar message and clicked the link. A few glasses more and a few hours later realised what I'd stupidly done, and quickly logged back in and changed all my details (sending copies of the message to the relevant ebay services)
I assume I got back to my account in time...?
(all my email addresses etc use different usernames and passwords)
Anyone have any extra advice incase I've missed something important..
(what an idiot, can't belive I fell for that!!)
