I remember reading a post a few weeks back with a similar case and someone pointed to some experts (myspace page was linked I think?) who the poster (have forgotten now) was saying are pretty much the best authority on Banksy work.

We should get him/her on the case for both of these new claimed originals then. Imagine how you'd feel if what appeared to be a Banksy popped up on the side of your house over night and it turned out to just be a fake. A bit of excitement at least I guess.

I know shit all about this stuff.. unless you're able to call up Banksy and ask him, and presuming he wasn't at the scrumpy before he did it, then forget it, cos he probably has.. there's only one or two people on the w allcandy forum that could possibly find out.. and they'd much prefer the work to remain on the streets.. so anyone selling is pretty much fucked when it comes to getting a decent price.. and for anyone buying.. well.. there's provenance and there's leaps of faith. Being an atheist, i'd steer well clear.

Item number: 280129146566 = Genuine, I'm about 85% on this, it looks right.
Item number: 200123315367 = Fake, 99% whiskers wrong and it just looks sloppy.
Item number: 300125855126 = Genuine, I've seen this around a few times and it ticks all the boxes.
Your thoughts?
