My sad Micallef story - I feel ill......., by Jamesy Wamesy on Jul 24, 2007 19:11:38 GMT 1, Just to make all of those feel better who have missed out on a deal or sold before a price spike before I recently, about 5 weeks ago, let go of 5 Micallefs for a song. To be exact it was:
GT ยฃ1200
H ยฃ700
SP ยฃ700
SC ยฃ1000
GF ยฃ1000
Oh well, as someone close to me always says, 'If ifs and ands were pots and pans there would be no use for Tinkers'... Now don't know what the fuck that means, something to do with hindsite i recon..... 
Did mange to keep hold of my WCIP and 21st Century Love, 3/95, good job I didn't swap for all though morons I was offered a month back. ...

My sad Micallef story - I feel ill......., by jonpud on Jul 24, 2007 19:41:55 GMT 1, Just over 4 weeks ago I sold a pair of AB's numbered the same and registered to me to a very pretty young woman near Birmingham. I let them go for ยฃ1100, she was so thrilled to have them her face lit up and a solitary tear rolled down her right cheek. I felt a lump in my throat that only Pamela Anderson could understand, I was moved, touched and highly emotional that I had bought such happiness to such a sweet young thing, I even drove a 250mile round trip using ยฃ40.00 of petrol to deliver them safely!
Now as I sit here remembering the joy I bought to her an inner warmth is developing and I no where the bitch lives, so gonna do another 250mile round trip, break in and take back what I should never have sold in the first place, in fact she conned me out of them! She knew they were gonna be worth 4 times the amount within 5 weeks!! Bitch!! ;D

I don't know what happened since then but I don't see myself ever paying the kind of money that it's currently going for.
And if I did have the fortune to win that auction. Even thyough I think that's probably the best B&W print. Trust me, I'd be happy to bring tears of joy by reselling it for triple that like everyone on ebay is now doing. How could you not? Unless you have some hope of holding out for 4-5 10 times that?
You get a couple prints go for insane prices to the money no object crowd and a bunch of LA hype multiplied in and people start speculating like crazy. The LA effect is already priced in, and then some, in my opinon.
