This POW stamp seem kosher?, by jaryd on Feb 3, 2007 18:41:53 GMT 1, The majority of these prints I've seen has the stamp on the bottom left. Think they just got lazy and stamped this one on the bottom right and partially off the print?

This POW stamp seem kosher?, by jaryd on Feb 3, 2007 19:02:37 GMT 1, Yeah... I really have the best spot for this on my wall, hence the reason I want it so bad.
I am also picky about the stamp being cut off, but my desire for the print is stronger.
Thanks.

This POW stamp seem kosher?, by mido on Feb 5, 2007 3:03:08 GMT 1, imagine the scenario....
small office, print area, waiting area, and print storgae area all in tiny place ... cups of coffee.. fags,.. phones ringing.... hangovers.... very busy....things to do.... decisions to make....artists to deal with.... etc etc...
there is NO official side that a stamp is used on, so either side is fine (there have even been a few weird ones, such as upside down ones!). Also given all of the above, some stampings are quite heavy, others quite light (this also depends on the image, paper etc). And sometimes they miss the edge.
None of it matters much
What matters is that the stamp is there (on prints where it should be)..... looks good....and the numbering is 'as expected'

This POW stamp seem kosher?, by corblimeylimey on Feb 5, 2007 19:46:06 GMT 1, Mine's stamped on the right hand side similar to this one for sale, but it's not cut off, that would be a concern for me in case the print had been trimmed to fit a frame at some point.

But as long as its the usual 50/70cm, cant see the problem with the print, the majority of the stamp is on the piece, if it was done as a fake, the least they would do was do it properly. Cant see any real probs with the print / stamp.

This POW stamp seem kosher?, by mido on Feb 5, 2007 20:43:28 GMT 1, the stamp is sometimes not totally on the paper
without examining the print you'll never know, and if if you did examine you still might not be able to tell...
is this the best conversation we can have??
has anyone on here actually got a banksy print? Or been to POW office? or not mind bendingly paranoid?
