Selling Sepia Morons, by Zippy on Jul 18, 2007 21:38:12 GMT 1, To protect any potential buyer I have privately contacted the seller and can confirm that the Prov is genuine. I am not financially in a position to buy it but I can vouch for its legitimacy if anyone is interested in it. I wanted to make sure no-one got stung on it. However, Pseud, I could swap for a dface DSTQ canvas!! Z

Selling Sepia Morons, by Zippy on Jul 18, 2007 21:51:03 GMT 1, He's a US seller so probably not aware of the delights of the English biscuit. I believe the Americans are not aware of the Wagon Wheel, Club, Breakaway, yoyo or the mint viscount. Feck me, we are lucky to be British!! Z

Selling Sepia Morons, by sausageboonwee on Jul 18, 2007 22:20:32 GMT 1, I'm guessing one of our American friends will come back with a list of their classic Biscuits (cookies - whatever). There will be some initial banter followed by some 'slagging' which if we're not careful could actually lead to a real war. 'The Great Biscuit War of 2007' or titled by American historians as 'The Great Cookie War of 2007'. Which I should point out England would win.

Thanks Zip I appreciate the reference.
I was trying to keep this thread Biscuit Free but there is a UK imports shop a five minute walk from here, so sure, I'll include biscuits to sweeten the deal.

england might be winning but then the scots would join with their american cousins in 'The Great Shortbread War of 2007' and the english would be doomed!!
anyway, have a bump on me.
