Shoreditch/Hoxton advice, by annar50 on Jan 28, 2010 18:37:10 GMT 1, get off at oldstreet station and go to prestwood st , where charlie isoe piece is and david choe vs dvs is also in the area . head down great eastern st off oldstreet station for some great work from probes , tizer ,rabodiga,loveletters etc. walk down holywell lane off great eastern st and there is a massive burning candy piece. nothing happening down slater st off bricklane as council have banned the graffiti artists from spraying the walls , shame on you london council .nice big invader in truman brewery off bricklane.

all are gone except for the invader , council cleaning up big style , not much around to see at the moment . nothing seems to last a few days anymore

Definitely could be worth a stroll down the canal if you fancy checking them out. They're all relatively close to each other.
The area around Brick Lane usually has a lot of interesting stuff, Vhils and Invader round near the Truman Brewery. Also check out Sclater St and Redchurch St.

Really? There were some nice pieces there, I'm sure it won't be too long before there's some new stuff up that stays. At least it gives everyone a blank canvas...

Wont be up in time for me though Unless!!! Schlomo fancy popping down there and giving me something to photograph. Still looking forward to the trip and will definately check things out down by the canal.

Shoreditch/Hoxton advice, by vanilla17 on Jan 30, 2010 22:52:21 GMT 1, Had a great time today checked out what was left after the clean up plenty of invaders of course and found a couple of Stik pieces and lots of A.C.E. paste ups. Thanks to Pure Evil for the warm welcome, loads of great pieces in the gallery and thanks to Art Republic who had some fantastic artworks especially the Joe Black Baer Faxt original absolutley amazing and not done justice in print form. Thanks to all for your help ,already looking forward to getting back down for the Faile/Bast exhibition, The only place to be.
