'Trolley' Print - Barely Legal LA '06, by monochrome on Sept 17, 2006 20:33:41 GMT 1, are you worried that you won't be able to sell this at 5 times what you paid for it? i only ask as you seem to advertise your print sale on the eBay forum.
personally i hope they are released by POW soon and you end up having to withdraw your sale. no hard feelings

'Trolley' Print - Barely Legal LA '06, by RBK on Sept 17, 2006 21:33:15 GMT 1, POW will most likely release these prints - and think that is a good thing because there is HUGE demand for them. Banksy made the cover of the NY Times & LA Times and all the visitors on Friday afternoon, Saturday & Sunday wanted to purchase prints. Plus we have a strong interest here and on Ebay. As an example, I saw that numusic bought one of the first ones that was up for auction!
The reason I'm selling this print is to offest the cost incurred for my recent 'Golf Sale' print purchase. I plan to hang 'Morons' in my home and wouldn't sell it for anything.
Additionally, I think it is slightly hypocritical of many of you members as you all bought prints years ago, or recently from POW for approximately $150. POW prints are (and have been) selling on Ebay for 6x the purchase price consistently, and for signed and/or early works the sky has been the limit - as evidenced with how much Golf Sale cost me

'Trolley' Print - Barely Legal LA '06, by RBK on Sept 17, 2006 22:50:30 GMT 1, None of the prints are signed. Probably kept the first 50 to give to people who worked for the show, and probably as additional presents to the celebrities/dealers that gobbled up the $180K canvases.

'Trolley' Print - Barely Legal LA '06, by monochrome on Sept 18, 2006 10:03:34 GMT 1, i see a big difference in carpet bagging after the LA show and those 'risking' making a purchase when Banky's light was less bright. if you want to off set your expensive GOlf Sale purchase, good - but I think advertising your print sale on here and other sites is just wrong. offering it to other collectors on here at a reasonable mark up is good, but not 6 times the asking price.

'Trolley' Print - Barely Legal LA '06, by ratpack on Sept 21, 2006 17:31:20 GMT 1, Why would I want to swap my Laugh Now print for one that I can buy off POW shortly?
