Print of the Year 2008, by Prescription Art on Dec 13, 2008 2:41:36 GMT 1, Woah woah woah. Ok, Shep's Obama piece was pretty popular.. but Shep just hasn't captured Obama's gravitas in the same way that the photographer here has. Let me tell you, that IF Paul Ross ever ran for president (and I have no reason to suspect that he wouldn't), THIS would be the image that would be glued to placards from Los Angeles to Libya.
"THERE WILL BE NO DROUGHT IN AFRICA"

And even if there was, he'd be able to get his brother Jonathan in to help on the fundraising side. I hear he's a bit quiet with work at the moment.....

Print of the Year 2008, by toothfairy on Dec 13, 2008 11:07:52 GMT 1, Howies - I decided to read the reviews and this is what I found:
3 of 5 people found the following review helpful: Do Not buy!! Rip Off!, 12 Dec 2008 By Robbie Ragdoll
I am deeply sadened by this product having ordered it in good faith in being a huge Paul Ross fan.
It was hung on my wall for three days when I returned home from work only to find my house robbed blind.
And they got everything, the tv, stereo, consoles, computer. Hell they even took all my cups and plates from my kitchen. There was literally nothing left in my house!!!
Except this print.
I can only assume that passers by were extremely jealous of my lavish life style and couldnt help themselves. They must have thought that i cant have this print and all my nice furniture so one or the other had to go so that i could be equalled out to everyone else.
So unless you too want your life ruined through common jealousy dont buy this print!!!
What does this mean?
1) Dont buy the print or your house will be burguled. 2) Only buy this print if you dont have nice things. 3) The thieves had good taste, by leaving it there. 4) The thieves did not understand the rising value of this piece.
Nice to know 3 out of 5 people found this review helpful!

Print of the Year 2008, by bmjt on Dec 13, 2008 11:16:44 GMT 1, Haha, there's fucking loads of these amazing reviews!
5 of 5 people found the following review helpful: 5.0 out of 5 stars I'm thrilled, 12 Dec 2008 By Mr. Sr Edwards "chelsea_steve" - See all my reviews
This is such a great thrill! I've been wanting a 20" Paul Ross canvas print for years, but have never been able to find one. 20" is the perfect size too! 21" would have been too big, and 19" too small. The wooden box frame makes a delightful "clonking" sound when you hit it with a teaspoon which is a sure sign of quality, and the canvas is the most canvassy I have ever encountered. If I had a hat (which I don't), I would take it off (which I can't) to Amazon. You've made my life almost complete.
All my heart desires now, is a tennis racquet cover adorned with the face of Fenella Fudge off of Radio 2. Here's hoping!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you Amazon. No really, THANK YOU!!!

Print of the Year 2008, by bmjt on Dec 13, 2008 11:18:20 GMT 1, 5 of 5 people found the following review helpful: 5.0 out of 5 stars This touched me beyond words, 12 Dec 2008 By T. Roser "fishbear" (Brighton UK) - See all my reviews (REAL NAME) This picture has changed everything.
I was fortunate enough to receive it as a mysteriously left gift on my doorstep one cold and frosty November morning - wrapped carefully in an oilskin, with a fraying ribbon the only barrier to revealing the fragile treasure kept within.
As my trembling fingers pulled back the covering to reveal this divine countenance, something came over me - a feeling, a new optimism, almost one might describe it as a 'rebirth'.
Since that day, I have spent many fevered hours transfixed by his serenity, his carefully tailored suit, the nonchalant positioning of the mineral water, and the artfully composed background.
This is a picture of rare power - surely as you read this you are reaching for your credit card.
You will not regret it. Become one with the image of Paul Ross, and see your life renewed!

Print of the Year 2008, by Guest on Dec 13, 2008 11:39:30 GMT 1, please read the reviews, total genius!
I can't recommend this picture of entertainer Paul Ross enough. I, like you, am an ardent fan of his effortless presenting style - the way he reads the autocue like a poet reading Wordsworth; his intimate interview questions that probe deeper than a million Parkinsons ever could; the chilling way he brings horror stories to life, his voice a beautiful yet terrifying portal to a mystifying otherworld.
But these fine qualities are not why I recommend this picture. There's a much more significant, deeper reason.
You see, my house is haunted. It has been for years. My hallways chill at the drop of a hat. Pipes moan and groan with the anguish of a thousand souls. Sometimes my curtains move. It's like living in one of the horrifying stories from his Big Black Book.
One day, I decided to escape the bone-chilling terror of my home-life to attend a market fair in a small hamlet two towns over. Among the assorted trinkets and toys, I felt drawn to one stall in particular. The owner, a wizened gentleman of around 90 years, told me he sensed in me feelings he'd not felt for aeons. This led him to show me his most prized asset - an item he swore he'd never sell until the Gods showed him the way.
I think you know what that item was.
When I returned home, I hung this picture above my haunted fireplace. Almost immediately, I felt the cold disappearing. The curtains stopped twitching. The pipes stopped moaning. I felt sure that this picture of Paul Ross expelled the demons from my home - I don't know why and I don't know how, but I can only thank Mr. Ross from the bottom of my heart.
I urge you, dear reader, to bathe in the warmth of Paul's chubby glow. My heart is at peace now - I only wish the same for you.
PS - do you sell any pictures of Jonathan too?

Print of the Year 2008, by bert on Dec 13, 2008 12:44:10 GMT 1, A rip roaring roller coaster of a canvas. 5 stars, probably the best canvas ever.
Didn't Paul Ross once call 'The Mummy Returns' the best action film ever?

Print of the Year 2008, by dynamixx on Dec 13, 2008 13:39:03 GMT 1, All I can say is thankyou PA for highlighting this gem for me, bought without hesitation, puts everything into perspective for me, a Paul inspired art epiphany if you like. From this day forward I renounce my street prints collection in favour of a quest for more Ross brothers' iconography. If anyone has the 21" inch Paul version and you're mad enough to want to swap it, PM me, have GWB signed or Kate AP for straight trade.

Print of the Year 2008, by sogr8ful on Dec 14, 2008 0:32:22 GMT 1, Very disappointed this only ships to the UK. Any chance a forum member will help me with this purchase (I'm in the US).
If I don't get this I'll have to continue making my own drawings of Paul Ross to hang on my walls.
