Army Gurkha chefs in Aldershot have won a catering award after making exquisite sculptures out of lard. Each intricate carving took around 100 hours to create. Lance Corporal Amrit Limbu who worked for 10 hours a day, for 10 days, to create his lard statue of a Buddha said it had been, "boring work".
