Selling Banksy Prints on Amazon, by trowel on Nov 22, 2006 14:32:54 GMT 1, There was another fella selling quite a few prints on there a couple of months back including a Virgin Mary for about ยฃ700 and a Flying Copper for ยฃ999.
I had them in my basket at one point so I could study them properly, however something then went a big goo-goo with our wireless router: my flatmate logged into his Amazon account on his laptop (not my PC), bought something worth about ยฃ40, then was slightly alarmed to see Amazon had added the two prints to his basket and his order was worth ยฃ1700+ 
He cancelled the order (then had a few days bricking what might come through the post ), but the prints still showed as sold and now seem to have disappeared

btw I was in art republic the other week and they have a framed virgin mary on the wall (no. 300 and something) and the quality is absolutly awful - all the print colours are all mismatched.........so if you do get a VM from there just beware. It was about a grand.

It's a shame really because people will see it in the shop and think they are all like that.

Could be from when POW got pissed off with them for putting the Banksy prices up, so they sent them a few prints  ;D
