Any good framers in Wales?, by walters on Nov 24, 2008 14:16:13 GMT 1, try gallery 66 in cardiff.quite slow,but they did a fantastic job on my connor harrington.excellent prices as well.also inkspot,i haven't used them as they're quite expensive,but i heard they're good.

actually,AVOID gallery 66.just picked a print that i had float mounted,only for it to fall away when i got it home revealing the double sided that was holding it on.

but- I suggest getting in touch with Mr Frame Man on here- He is the best and has vans to Wales every month or so.
Its not cheap but the end product is out of this world!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Frame factory is pretty good on City Road, did an excellent job on my Chiho Aoshima. Also both above will supply acid free mounts/backboards etc.
Spread the word hlarmy always good to hear of other good local framers.

I always feel bad when I've got him to just cut mounts for me, will try to use him for my next 'special' frame job. |
