I think you might be surprised at how inexpensive many warhol signed prints are relative to other less known artists. It's simply a case of supply and demand as there are over 100k signed Warhol prints out there and it weighs on the market. There are a handful of iconic print images that command up to about $300k per print but the vast majority of Warhol prints are under $10k with many coming in at $3k (which is not to suggest that $3k isn't a lot of money). The cheapest that I'm aware of (though I don't follow too closely) is the Committee 2000 print of which there are 2k signed prints and many APs and other. This print can be had in nearly every print auction for about $2,500. My advice would be to check out this site:

See what you like and run a few artnet searches to see where they've been trading at auction. Since they are auctioned nearly every month, you can set your target on a handful of images and enter a bid until you're content. 90+% of the secondary dealers out there that I've seen always have prices that are far above their auction counterparts so I would buy at auction for both price and to be able to point the finger towards Christie's or Sotheby's later if there was ever a problem with provenance. The Warhol market appears a bit soft but only marginally so and its screamed higher at such a relentless pace that a breather is probably in order. It's important to note that the average price is approximately $5k per composition for what the Foundation has left. To me that suggests mostly polaroids and commercial works from the 50s. The good paintings were exhausted by the turn of this century and only very poor quality ad paintings from '85 and some various crabs from around that time remained as of a decade ago. My hunch is that this will have little to no effect on the wider Warhol market.

You might, might be able to get a Ladies and Gentlemen plate if you're lucky. One of the dull flowers prints (not the ones you are thinking of, but the hand drawn ones which are sometimes coloured.) You could pick up a Marilyn Invite for that, but they are crap really so I'd avoid.
Frankly at that level what you'd be able to buy wouldn't be great. However at that level you could buy a semi decent Lichtenstein, or an Ed Ruscha, both of which would be great things. Shop around look at all the auctions, and don't discount going to dealers, there are bargains to be had if you are persistent.
