It was more exploratory tonget a general sense of what interest level was like. Sometimes interest crops pollinates outside of Banksy etc. people have offered Nolaโs and signed GWB's on here before which are more valuable that the Warhol I have by a large margin. So I am not not sure I understand you in what the harm is in asking about a lesser value print.

Andy Warhol ๐บ๐ธ Real or Fake? โข Sunday B. Morning Print, by campfire headphase on Jul 11, 2019 13:28:32 GMT 1, Do you think many members here have the coin to buy warhol? Or you hoping you can f**ksomeone over with your selling? More name changes on here than me. But at least i am not ripping the arse out of people. Just saying. Iโm willing to bet there are plenty of people on here with coin to buy prints of value. Itโs a sweeping generalization on your part to assume every member here is so broke they canโt even afford to pay attention. Plenty of valuable prints such as Barcodes, APโs Nola prints and GWB here change hands between members. I donโt know.. maybe youโre a penniless rube and because of that you think each and every user on here is the same. That I canโt say. I just assume that users on here are from all over the spectrum of buying power.

Andy Warhol ๐บ๐ธ Real or Fake? โข Sunday B. Morning Print, by campfire headphase on Jul 11, 2019 13:33:44 GMT 1, Same scenario as Roy Lichtenstein works I heard that. I know his daughter, Jessica. I know it was a huge issue for them. Basquiat foundation is the same. With the recent emails from Pest Control regarding people like Kevin at Rise Gallery, I wonder how long it will be before they say, โfuck.it.โ, too, and just drop the service. The whole โWe exist to authenticate works by Banksy who creates these in advanced states of intoxicationโ probably holds less truth now. Heโs got a purse and is living well, Iโm sure. The studio must have a better handle on what was produced nowadays.

Was the same price with fees as an auction from March of this year - only 8 weeks or so prior.. Forum auctions I believe it was. Iโm wasn't asking for something someone else hasnโt already paid on public record.

Andy Warhol ๐บ๐ธ Real or Fake? โข Sunday B. Morning Print, by Zero Hero 2 on Jul 25, 2019 13:30:29 GMT 1,
This was quite the story in Sweden and a big scandal in association with it.
In 1968 there was an exhibition in moderna museet in Stockholm. For this exhibition they made 10-15 brilloboxes in Wood and about 400 in wellpapp was orderded by Pontus Hultรฉn. These was 'okey:ed' from Warhol. And considerd original works. In 1990 (3 years after Warhol death). Pontus Hultรฉn made an additional 108.
All above was considerd original Andy Warhol works until 2010 when the Andy Warhol att authentication board withdew their judement of them being original.
The story is more complicated then my small summary above.

โThe question of what is genuine Warhol and what is not is an important one in this show. When the Moderna Museet was planning its 1968 exhibition, it couldnโt afford to ship Warholโs plywood Brillo boxes from New York. So Kasper Kรถnig, who was then an intern at the Moderna Museet (he would later become director of Cologneโs Museum Ludwig and the founder of Sculpture Projects Mรผnster), wrote to the Brillo company in New York asking them to send 300 empty boxes for the exhibition. The company agreed to a price of 20 cents per box, and sent 500, flat-packed, to be assembled by museum staff.
โI donโt think Warhol saw them as art in the beginning,โ says Nilsson. Instead, they were exhibition dรฉcorโrather like the Silver Clouds that the Moderna Museet was also unable to source for the 1968 exhibition. (Instead, they inflated eight transparent plastic sacks.)
But the story took a strange twist after the exhibition closed, when Hulten had some plywood Brillo boxes made. Then, more than 20 years later, he had a further 105 made for an exhibition in St. Petersburg by carpenters in Malmรถโin 1990, after Warholโs death. He sold 40 of these to the art dealer Ronny van de Velde in 1994, together with a document certifying that they were made in 1968. In 1995, he donated six of the Malmรถ boxes to the Moderna Museet, again falsely certifying that they were produced in 1968.โ

Andy Warhol ๐บ๐ธ Real or Fake? โข Sunday B. Morning Print, by Fantasmes on Feb 16, 2020 4:26:10 GMT 1, The catalogue raIn Seach Ofnnรฉ recognizes three unauthorized series of prints. Sunday B. Morning (SBM) did two of these in 1970, one with the same colors as the original 1960s portfolio, stamped in black with the usual SBM markings and numbered of an edition of 250. The other SBM series had different colors from the original portfolio, only stamped in black with the usual SBM markings. The third reference is to a European AP Edition, with no mention of who created them.
IMHO if anyone is looking to spend money on a Sunday B. Morning edition, go for the black stamp since it's actually recognized in the catalogue, it's a fraction of the price of an original, and there may be some investment qualities in these/you'd probably get your money back if you had to sell. I plan on keeping mine for a while :-)
The current runs stamped in blue are nice quality, but, as others have mentioned, are just nice decorative pieces. If anyone were to pick one, buy straight from SBM, the owner is cool and she may give you a discount if you buy a few!
Added a pic of the catalogue reference for Marilyn - couldn't find the full PDF again, which references Flowers and others.

www.tate.org.uk/whats-on/tate-modern/exhibition/andy-warhol
DATES 12 March โ 6 September 2020
A new look at the extraordinary life and work of the pop art superstar
Andy Warhol was the son of immigrants who became an American icon. A shy gay man who became the hub of New Yorkโs social scene. An artist who embraced consumerism, celebrity and counter culture โ and changed modern art in the process.
He was born in 1928 as Andrew Warhola to working class parents from present day Slovakia. In 1949 he moved from Pittsburgh to New York. Initially working as a commercial illustrator, his skill at transforming the imagery of American culture soon found its realisation in his ground-breaking pop art.
This major retrospective is the first Warhol exhibition at Tate Modern for almost 20 years. As well as his iconic pop images of Marilyn Monroe, Coca-Cola and Campbellโs soup cans, it includes works never seen before in the UK. Twenty-five works from his Ladies and Gentlemen series โ portraits of black and Latinx drag queens and trans women โ are shown for the first time in 30 years. Visitors can also play with his floating Silver Clouds and experience the psychedelic multimedia environment of the Exploding Plastic Inevitable.
Popularly radical and radically popular, Warhol was an artist who reimagined what art could be in an age of immense social, political and technological change.โ
This exhibition is organised by Tate Modern and Museum Ludwig, Cologne in collaboration with the Art Gallery of Ontario, Toronto and Dallas Museum of Art.
Presented in the Eyal Ofer Galleries.
