The foundation is in effect still but no longer authenticates work. I think thatโs because they would not authenticate artwork people were convinced were real. Maybe they tried to sue the foundation for their refusal. That gets expensive and Iโm sure they just said, fuck.this. and stopped providing that service.
There are great catalog raisonneโ books by Feldman and Schelman on the prints. Stamped/vs hand numbered, signed in felt/vs pencil etc etc. they get pretty granular.

Iโve always been interested in a piece of his but price range varies so much and it sounds like there is simply no way to know if itโs real or not so I think Iโll continue to admire from a far. Best.
