WRONGWROKS Mona Lisa silkscreen print..., by seidbereit on Jun 23, 2008 6:20:31 GMT 1, I retract what I said above (should have read the top post more carefully rather than just giving it a fleeting glance).
Reading the tread again now it would certainly appear to be a pretty shrewd bit of scam spotting by Felix. Credit where it's due.

WRONGWROKS Mona Lisa silkscreen print..., by loucastel on Jun 23, 2008 8:53:06 GMT 1, Irrespctive of sham punting on here, it's still yet another poor take on a masterpiece, what's the matter wth artists, cant they think up something a bit more original, it would be difficult to count up the number of times the mona has been used by so called artists, I'm sure someone out there would know how many times it's been used.

As far as my very limited opinion is concerned i too reckon this image has been worked enough now...or has it?... Mona with cigarette = Mona Wheezer, Mona in a fridge = Mona Freezer, Mona with a beard = Mona Geezer.

WRONGWROKS Mona Lisa silkscreen print..., by brun on Jun 23, 2008 13:14:19 GMT 1, I think it's pretty dope. Supreme is one of the illest skate/street brands and the Mona Lisa is one of the illest paintings. I like skating and I like painting. Works for me hahaha!! But seriously, the simplicity is inspiring, even if it is a little banksyesque. One thing is for sure, though. Wrongwroks does have his finger on the pulse of pop-culture. Can't fault that....
does he

WRONGWROKS Mona Lisa silkscreen print..., by esfer on Jun 24, 2008 4:13:22 GMT 1, I would like to add that wrongwrocks' (or WR's) art not only sucks my ba**s but he is a total douchbag on top of it all. He has been selling his own garbage art for years on ebay and this type shameless self promoting is the complete norm for him. That is not even the worst thing about him, because I can understand promoting one's own art...but he is a shady jerk who will rip you off in a heart beat on top of it. He has ripped off so many people selling collectibles on ebay. I sold him a bunch of catalogs one time, and he filed a complaint with paypal saying he never got the items (only after HE BEGGED me to ship without tracking because it was "so expensive", him knowing I would have no way to defend myself with Paypal. Then, I caught him selling the exact items on ebay...while the complaint was still pending with Paypal...and he only agreed to end the complaint after I started calling his house!! These items were not items you could get easily either, they were very early Barry Mcgee catalogs of which there were only 500 copies made...I know he only could have gotten them from me.
This is Par for the course for Tony..."wronkwrocks...aswipe and a half...call him whatever you want, but don't do any business with him.
