What is your most preferred way to pay on eBay?, by influence on May 6, 2007 0:23:20 GMT 1, With Banksy prints priced so high, eBay + PayPal + the postal service/customs takes a chunk load of money out of the final total.
I was wondering what type of payments do most of you in the UK prefer to pay to someone selling in the US?
PayPal is the most popular on eBay of course, but their fees take a ridiculous amount out and if there is ever a problem, their transfer process takes many days.
Would a cashiers check/ personal check be reliable in that case?

What is your most preferred way to pay on eBay?, by verbalkint on May 6, 2007 0:58:43 GMT 1, but the payers dont pay any fees to pay by paypal, so why would the bidder care? Paypal takes ยฃ1250 a month from me in fees and so do ebay, but its worth it to sell the items to millions of buyers

Their protection system - is not (in my case) to be trusted.
I took them to the banking ombudsman in the uk last year.
Absolute shower of cowboys..(papyal)
but then that's only my opinion - people !
if possible I use bank transfer - no problems so far.

Ahh, are you on personal account for paypal? You should upgrade to business/premier to get the rest of it

I would guess from Beejoir's post his funds have been frozen & he has to wait the standard 6 months until funds are returned..
