received my First Banksy today, by froz on May 2, 2008 6:17:49 GMT 1, I received my first Banksy in the mail today ;D . Traded for a Morons Unsigned. Looking to purchase a "sleeve" until i can buy a Frame for it. Any Suggestions? Im in the US.

And as for backing boards, you can pick up really large pieces of foamcore at any Michaels or AC Moore.

received my First Banksy today, by tmccarthy41 on May 2, 2008 13:41:24 GMT 1, if you live in US, call a Michaels (Arts & Craft store) around you and find out when they are running their 50% off entire order sale (they do it like once a month). I have had jobs that were like $700 for $350 all the time. For a standard black wood frame (good width) and good quality glass you can have it framed for around $150 during on of these sales

I will probably have to do with unsigned prints for now until the new release, really would like to get a signed one ;D

It was the print that finally got me on the road to collecting, although I was much too late to get that one at source - kinda funny really, as I don't think it's the prettiest print around, it's one of the few that I'd want for it's message more than it's appearance, fucking brilliant! Enjoy!!!

The wife is out with girlfriends and the kid is fast asleep. Meanwhile I get to enjoy some delicious sushi with good tunes staring at the lovely Heavy Weaponry that finally arrived today after some mechanical issues with a Fedex plane earlier this week. It's so nice to grab a piece from an artist that is new to one's collection and it makes me want another but that damn cash part of the equation will keep me stalled at one for now. Still, I'm delighted to be here enjoying this painting with a delicious burg and the new marco benevento disc. I could get used to this...

Congrats as well Lee3, it does feel good to receive a new piece. I promise I will not skimp on the framing of it, I now have to figure out matte color, border style and color, and cost so i can get this thing up! Will keep everyone informed of the progress! ;D
