Can you buy distilled water on the high street?, by insite on Apr 7, 2008 11:43:13 GMT 1, Err, it did, does and will continue too like all my cars. As did my vans and my trucks. And as for all the leisure batteries I used for electricity for ten years well they all took at least 4 times the number of charges they were designed to take so you just keep using an unnecessarily expensive product where you don't need too and keep up the laughing. And actually thinking about it your a complete bulls**tter as distilled water would f**k your car battery very sharpish! All i can say is YOUR A d**k HEAD and i pray for your family!
No I'm not a liar and I really don't get your need for such pointlessly arrogant aggression.

Sorry, not meant to cause upset..just clarity is all, no arrogance intended.
As for reality..my brother gets onto scenes before you guys do..has half of Hampshire to cover mate..organizes all Paramedic activity and is on-call response..you know, the unmarked cars with pretty flashing lights?

Can you buy distilled water on the high street?, by top on Apr 7, 2008 12:04:33 GMT 1, ..see where this is leading clipit101? ..all this over a car battery? ..its s**t like this that people on here loathe.. abusive and taunting banter that clogs up threads.. f**k all to do with art too (especially in this instance).
I also have a friend whom is a Fireman..so nothing new
yawn..
In addition, for someone with such a responsible job mate your posts do sound like that of a young man..ahem..given that your so experienced and all that..
Sorry to anyone reading this, but f**k it, I don't fall out or cause upset here (except once!) and rarely bother to retort to such bollox..however, I'm bored today, so I'm just being a c**t ;D

You will get it at Halfords or Motosave or some other car place - it should be used when topping up batterys...

Can you buy distilled water on the high street?, by dogant on Apr 10, 2008 16:26:19 GMT 1, Ok - I have looked on the web - to find the difference between Deironised water (the stuff you use for your car battery)and distilled water (the stuff I was told to use to flatten a bent print!)
I guess boiling a kettle is now a option that is "distilled"
The difference between Deironised water and distilled water ? Deionized water and distilled water differ by the methods that have been used to purify them.
Distilled water involves distillation, which includes boiling the water and then condensing the steam into a clean container, leaving nearly all of the solid contaminants behind. Distillation produces very, very pure water but also leaves behind a leftover white or yellowish mineral scale.
Deionized water is water that has had its minerals removed, such as cations from sodium, calcium, iron, copper and anions such as chloride and bromide. Deionization is a physical process which uses specially-manufactured ion exchange resins which bind to and filter out the mineral salts from water. Because the majority of water impurities are dissolved salts, deionization produces a high purity water that's generally similar to distilled water, and does so quickly and without scale buildup. However, deionization does not significantly remove uncharged organic molecules, viruses or bacteria.
