Soupcan v Kate Moss, by nacional on Mar 7, 2008 21:14:34 GMT 1, OK, so why is a Kate Moss priced at going on for 80 or 90 grand when a soupcan lurks around 10-12 grand.
The soupcan is about the same edition size, its a colorway as well and its a really simple Warhol pastiche as is soupcan.
Am I missing sumut or is it just , well, because.
And please don't just say cause its fucking great, cause its not really great....

And by the way are Micallef prints going to go back up in value again ot what???

If I wanted an image of her i would buy a poster. Soupcan is a rather crappy pastiche, or homage if you insist, but at least its a funny one...

I understand the history of the soup can, but there is similar history with the Kate print, it's bigger, brighter and probably more appealing outside of the Banksy collector world than the soup can.
