Advice - Best way to send print to the USA, by DYL4N on Feb 11, 2008 18:12:44 GMT 1, Called to the local post office this morning with a print to go to the states, no problems except i want to insure it for the full amount and the post office global priority etc max is ยฃ500.
Any advice? Am i gonna have to go to dhl or fedex?

P.S. Standard postal tube insured to ยฃ1300 is what im after. ;D

If its a worthy recipient, it can range from ยฃ10 - ยฃ70 although at ยฃ70 it gets its own seat and cocktails on the plane..... ( it also gets there in 48 hours). Had problems about 2 months ago with royal mail, Parcel force were great with lots of different options.

Ref insurance i would try DHL & see what they come in at pricewise, i do find once you go away from Royal mail prices can start really creeping up.

and put the print in 2 tubes, GBH sent me prints like this, makes it bomb proof,

canยดt recommend them enough great for sending flimsy pow tubes around. And not really expensive aound 3 / 6 pounds. (2 sizes and height adjustable)
