WRONG. Please don't make allegations such as this when you clearly have no idea what you are talking about.
Proboards installs the google advertising banner on all of its sites. You have to pay for it to turn it off. You will notice that the same banner is on W a l l k a n d y as well.

He is a funny man from a different class and world to me, much like most of new labour and the Tories.
If I could vote for him I would,
and the Obama print I think is a shot in Sheps' own foot, I donโt like it or the fact he is promoting a candidate, this will come back to bite Obeys arse when another man falls victim of ill formed foreign policies and corrupt advisers and lobby groups,
I would like to be wrong on this and see Obama do a great job and bring common sense into the Whitehouse, time will tell.
He canโt be worse than Bush can he??

For someone who works in advertising, I'm surprised you don't know how ad publishing works.
You're half right in that someone is making money as an ad publisher. As Pez mentioned, if you pay for a subscription to Proboards, you will receive the ad revenue. If not, Proboards receives it.
Like 99% of all online applications/web services out there, you don't own the software or infrastructure as a user or moderator. If you read the T&Cs it's clear that Proboards does and you are either leasing (if you pay for a subscription) or are just a user within the Proboards community.
So, unless Silky is paying for a subscription, he is NOT getting any revenue.
Also, whoever cited the CPM measure, that's again 1/2 true. The real money is made on clicks (CPCs).
