I'd personally hang none of the La prints with the exception of colour trollys, I like that. Stop and search is not my cup of tea at all. Bombhugger, bomb middle england, toxic, christ wsb- I like. Amongst many more.
As for the next print. I reckon it's all over. No more prints from Mr B.  He'll be keeping it real in 08, painting on walls, more stunts and lots of money to charity and good causes that we may not even here of.
He's gonna be better than ever this year! Come on!!!

Yeah, agreed.....that's such a great image (so innocent and so atypical for the whole street art 'scene', it's wonderful)...but not sure how well it would translate on paper....would have to be awfully big to get the desired effect I think

Ideas??, by loucastel on Jan 19, 2008 22:34:46 GMT 1, I think it is good for Banksy to have moved on, making pictures about the world we live in now, each one telling it's own story, just a little reminder about what is important, I know not everyone likes ,S & S but I bet there wont be a lot of people who doesnt know what it refers to, or when it was released. He is evolving more as a person and an artist, keeping up with current events, I think any new images he does will be just as evocative.

I like trollies, but with stop and search, morons, flags etc. his work has lost its impact and immediacy it once had. The gritty, urban guerilla style has gone, replaced with a finer subtlety that doesn't work as well for me. Rude Copper, Bomb Hugger, Laugh Now... now that's banksy at his finest.

One thing for sure most of us will be on POW F5ing away wanting to get the next print. As is now the norm there wont be suitable time to assess its merits until after we have either been successful or suffer the disappointment of failed payments / basket errors.
