I sat on it for a while, added a few quid to it, nearly bought a Kayak but decided against it. Ended up on POW, saw some prints, thought about it. Went away for a couple of days, came back and bought myself a Christ With shopping bags for £500.
I remember telling people with amazement a few weeks later that I had seen one go for £600 on ebay, then one went for £800 a bit after that. I thought people were paying crazy money.
Sure there'll be people with better bargins than that though.

Ended up on POW, saw some prints, thought about it. Went away for a couple of days, came back and bought myself a Christ With shopping bags for £500.

"Ive got two more in the boot of my car" My friend replies, then promply goes and gets me one. It was a £40 gift at the time!!
I then discovered the pow site and started buying prints.

I was offered this at the end of last year for 35K (he is now going to sell it in auction).
He found three in a building with three of his mates. One mate said "I dont want one" so they all had one each. Laz has bought the other two.

Yeah, still got it, framed up nicely. There was a photo on the original 'get your banksys out..' thread but I've moved all my photos around in photobucket so the link's dead (might even have deleted the post from the original thread). I'll dig out the photo over the weekend and post it again.

Yep, very happy with them hanging on the living room wall. They were bought because we loved them, not for profit. Soon to be joined by a Trolley's once it's back from the framers too. I still consider that a bargain too.

Turned out to be worth £10k and the taxi driver was complaining he rather have his 2 and 6 or whatever instead....wonder if there are any similar Banksy stories.

I remember seeing all the early banksy going for $300usd all day signed on ebay and what not, the ability to cruise POW and see some available for what around the same. No limits on purchases. I always b!tched and complained about how they where $300(high) because I was used to buying Obey prints for $30. Needless to say I waited and waited until before you know they were $500-$1000. Thought it was nuts. Then had the opp. to pick up Signed Sepila(however you spell it) 600pounds at pow if I remember correctly. Passed because didnt want to pay 1k for a print. NOw I have no Banksy and have that horror remembered everytime I log on..
