Put my signed LV Child up (260143410887) nearly a day ago now and it's still not showing on searches... I've mailed them and they're zero help... any ideas anyone?

I found it with your number but as you say when you search for the title - nitto -
i'm afraid your only option is to keep badgering them or try and list again.

I tried to sell my Grandma with a uni-slipper, an electric underblanket, and three packets of Digestive biscuits (plain), and it didn't show at all. Gutted! Official...Ebay is crap.
Apart from when I win stuff.

Somebody on here said before that they sometimes look into stuff like art before listing because of the historical money laundering that has gone on through it...still no excuse!

Go to ebay.com and click the small "live help" link on the right.
Tell them the problem and they should be able to fix it.

haha - ebay now set it up so that when you submit you're auction, you're also agreeing to a bunch of fine print, such as, it may take hours or days for your listing to show up in searches. Effing bastards. They're trying to protect themselves from class action lawsuits although I wouldn't be surprised to see people stil try.
I've listed auctoins that never once showed up in a search for the whole 7 days. Had to force them to give a refund.
And be aware that funny punctuation or characters in the auction title sometimes throws off the searches

As i have said before certain ebay listings are 'Screened' for security purposes ( Not just art but a specific list of products, that list increases by the day..) a high % are delayed, ebay uk in January inserted a disclaimer in listings highlighting this, it is pretty visible..
It was only rolled out on a very large scale due to counterfeit issues, trusy & safety development & the worldwide child porn ring from late last year.( They do still appear strangely enough, but better 'Hidden'!)
If mike amends the auction it will take even longer to show in regular searches as it will be checked that the listing has not been 'Updated'
Your listing will be posted on the eBay site and can be viewed in My eBay. Your listing may not be immediately searchable by keyword or category for several hours, so eBay cannot guarantee exact listing duration in search results

Effing ebay..., by snakes on Jul 26, 2007 20:04:07 GMT 1, Mike if you write LV, you may have to wait up to 24 hours or over because of the anti-counterfeit lot have to check it first b4 allowing the listing!
You may also find it difficult trying to edit the listing. You will get immediate listing if you type it as L V, but then it will only show in beejoir searches and will not show to the LV market!

I know how to stop that happening if it's any help.
You have to schedule the listing for a time you want it to appear, it costs 6p extra but it does work.
